Your Snorkel Guide
Laura, grew up in the North East of England and lives, currently, in and old fisherman’s cottage East Lothian with her wife and two dogs.
A qualified snorkel instructor and PADI Rescue Diver, Laura had been a scuba diver for nearly 10 years. She says that she had ‘always been’ fascinated by the sea’ and that she got into snorkelling during the pandemic, “my background is in outdoor education and connecting people with nature so it was only a matter of time before I ended up as a snorkelling instructor!”, she says. A certified rescue diver there is now better person to take you on a snorkeling tour of Elie Bay.
When not snorkelling Laura works in marine conservation, with the RSPB.
Dates and Times
The whole snorkeling experience lasts 90mins from introduction, to a warm drink, at the end. It is then followed by an hour’s sauna, in Shore Sauna, Elie Seaside Sauna’s large shared sauna. So, from start to finish, the whole snorkeling and sauna experience will last 2.5hrs.
- Sunday 8th June start time 12.30, with sauna at 14.00, ending 15.00
- Sunday 20th July start at 10.30 with sauna at 12.00, ending 13.00
